Self-taught in her practice, Adrienne began painting as an experiment that has since evolved into a full-blown passion project. Her paintings are bold and colorful, representing tension and the emotional duality at play in one’s heart and one’s head. The work evokes joy, vulnerability, femininity and usually a sense of reckless abandon.

Currently, under her Crush Works brand, she explores the limitless world of scale, pattern, composition and fabrication to express her original art in a myriad of forms. In 2017, she worked alongside Tibetano Carpets and launched a collaborative collection of handwoven rugs in New York City.

She exhibits her work at home in Toronto, as well as in New York, Los Angeles and the UK.
